VikingCloud's new research, 2026 Cyber Threat Landscape Report: The Distributed Enterprise Illusion,  was featured in Cybersecurity Insiders, which reported that 86% of distributed enterprises experienced a cyberattack in the past 12 months, and 77% of those attacked reported that the incident spread beyond its original point of entry. The article covers five challenges facing distributed enterprises, from new locations opening before central monitoring reaches them to 91% of respondents acknowledging that at least one material cybersecurity incident in the past year was not reported to executive leadership or the board.
